A few housekeeping reminders

Gym Usage

Please ensure that you follow the hygiene rules showing consideration for other users. Use the hygiene wipes to clean down all areas of equipment you have used before you leave. Also, please do not use the gym in your outdoor shoes, please change into suitable, dry, gym shoes. Please help us to keep the gym clean for all users.

Court Usage

A reminder - no outdoor shoes on court. YOU MUST WEAR APPROPRIATE SQUASH SHOES WITH NON-MARKING SOLES. This does not mean you can use any old trainers, they should be appropriate court shoes which would normally utilise a rubber sole as shown below. We have spent many thousands of pounds on these floors recently so if you don't follow these guidelines then don't be surprised if you're asked to vacate the court!

Carpet Tiles

You may have noticed that the ground floor carpet tiles are showing signs of damp at the tile joints in the form of white powdery deposits. This is 'efflorescence' and is a symptom of a damp problem we have had for some time. Please be assured that we are working hard to rectify the problem.

Health & Safety

For the newer members, please acquaint yourself with the facilities provided for you and your partners' benefit.

  • A defibrillator is located behind court two. This is easy to use and gives voice instructions.
  • A first aid kit and ice packs are situated alongside the defibrillator for your use if required.

Upcoming Home Team Fixtures

Why not come along to the club to support our teams in action in the following upcoming fixtures?

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
