The 2026 HSRC Competition Finals took place on Saturday 4th July, bringing together members and friends for a day of competitive squash and racketball.

After weeks of close-fought competition, the finalists battled it out across the various categories, producing some entertaining matches and crowning this year's club champions.

Despite England's heartbreaking loss in the semi-finals, we are still planning to open the bar from around 7.00pm tomorrow night. It won't quite be the same without our team in action, but let's hope those noble Spanish midfield matadors can keep the ball away from the one skilled Argentinian and his horde of leg-breakers. That's got to be worth a watch. C'mon Spain!

Our club’s commitment to developing the next generation of players reached an exciting new milestone during the 2025/26 season, with a junior-led Development Team competing in Division One of the Leicestershire Squash League.

Following the promotion of Hinckley’s second team at the end of the previous season, the opportunity arose to create a Development Team that would give some of the club’s most promising young players regular experience of competitive senior team squash.
