Another successful Hinckley Open tournament brings the squash community to HSRC

Taking place at our club last Saturday, the Hinckley Open brought in over 50 keen squash players from our club and the wider squash community to take place four graded one-day tournaments. And a grand time was had by all!

After a full day of competition, the finalists and winners were as follows:

Grade A

Ali Mutch beat Ryan Spencer (12-10, 11-3) in the final.
Plate winner was George Orton.

Grade B

Barrie McLelland beat Harry Reedman (11-13, 11-4, 11-5) in the final.
Plate winner was Cameron Finch.

Grade C

Rory McGuire beat Gabriel Chan (13-11, 10-2, 11-9) in the final.
Plate winner was Georgia Mutch.

Grade D

Aaron Hundle beat Alan Palmer (12-10, 10-12, 11-2) in the final.
Plate winner was Matthew Fearn.

The Wooden Racket One-Point Championship was won by Ryan Spencer, who took the £78 prize home after several seconds of gruelling work.
