Get involved with the UK Racketball Camp - enter the mini-graded comp - watch the exhibition match!

5th - 6th April 2025

We are thrilled to be hosting this training camp, graded competition and exhibition, presented by UK Racketball.

Places on the bootcamp are now all taken, but there is still time to enter the evening Racketball Graded event (Saturday 5th April from 5pm).

There is also an exhibition match between two of the UK's top Racketballers on the Saturday - Mike Harris and our very own Ali Mutch, taking place on Saturday 5th April at 7.30pm). The exhibition match is FREE for members to come along and watch.

Please contact Mike Harris at admin@uk-racketball.com to register interest in the mini-graded tournament.

Annual General Meeting 2025

Monday 7th April from 8.00pm - All Members Welcome!

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the club committee's yearly report on the preceding twelve months. All members are welcome to join us and hear about the progress of the club, presented by our Chairman Steve Gaisford with assistance from other club officers.

You are welcome to submit questions for the committee ahead of time to secretary@hinckleysquash.com. Please ensure that questions reach us by 1st April to give the committee time to discuss prior to the AGM.

We have blocked out the squash courts on Monday 7th April for this event upstairs. Come along for a drink and to hear about the club's progress.

There's still time to enter the Dinosaur Leagues!

Tuesday evenings starting late April

For those of you new to our club, the Dinosaur Leagues is a fun, social competition taking place over four consecutive Tuesday nights: 29th April, 6th May, 13th May, 20th May.

Teams are arranged based on the standard of players who have entered, so a team will be made up of strong to inexperienced players. Your matches will be against other members of a similar level.

There's also space for a racketballer per team, and hopefully a junior too. Any playing member can enter... fossils are welcome!

The Dinosaur Leagues are a great way for new members to get involved and meet new people, and for the team players to finish off their match season in style.

Each Tuesday will start at 7.00pm or thereabouts, and we'll put some nibbles on the bar to entice both herbivores and meat-eaters out of their enclosure. Best of all, it's only £10 for the four weeks.

We have 20 sign-ups so far. Another 12 people would be great!

See who's signed-up on the team noticeboard by the men's changing rooms.

Upcoming Court Maintenance

Saturday 29th March

Unfortunately courts across Saturday 29th March may be out of action due to court maintenance as we replace some of the sponsor hoardings. Stay tuned closer to the time as we release courts back to the members as we work across the courts. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, we will try and get them opened up as soon as possible on the day for your last minute box league games!

Upcoming Home Team Fixtures

We're now approaching the last few weeks of team squash before the curtain comes down on the 2024/25 season. Why not come along to the club to support our teams as they dig deep in the remaining fixtures?

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
