The Dinosaurs League Needs Fresh Meat!

We need 8 more entries to make ths work. Tell your friends to sign up. See downstairs noticeboard for current sign-ups.

The Dinosaur Leagues is a popular and fun competition where teams of fellow members play each other over four consecutive Tuesday nights: 28th April, 5th May, 12th May, 19th May.

Teams are created based on the standard of players who have entered, so a team will be made up of strong to inexperienced players, and we'll even things out to make sure each team has a fair shot of taking home the coveted Dinosaur Trophy.

There's also space for a racketballer per team, and hopefully a junior too. Any playing member of any age can enter, it's a competition for all.

The Dinosaur Leagues are a great way for new members to get involved and meet new people, and for the team players to finish off their match season in style.

Each Tuesday will start at 7.00pm or thereabouts, and we'll put some nibbles on the bar to entice both herbivores and meat-eaters out of their enclosures. Best of all, it's only £10 for the four weeks.

Sign-up and pay online to reserve your place! Write your name up on the sheet on the downstairs noticeboard to show others that you're keen.

Daren Masters Memorial Club Night Reminder

This Friday 24th April from 6.00pm

Please save the date and come along to this one-off club night across all four courts, in memory of club member Daren Masters who unexpectedly passed away recently.

The club night will be free all night, but please bring a few pounds to put in the collection tin in aid of British Heart Foundation.

Even if you're not going to be on court, you are still very much welcome to pop along, have a drink, and share stories at the bar.

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
