Squash & Racketball Box Leagues Update

Just a heads-up that the June Squash & Racketball Box Leagues will extend across to the end of July this year, to give everyone more court time to get their club competition games in as well in what looks like being a congested fixture period.

I will have them ready tomorrow, Monday June 1st.

Intercounty Racketball Team Championships 2026!

Saturday 6th / Sunday 7th June

We are thrilled to be co-hosting this inter-county championships along with Cleaver Squash Club in Nuneaton. Some of the nation's very best racketball players are congregating for their county sides to do battle and we should see some awesome games across the two days!

  • In the 'A' Grade Leicestershire's team includes our very own James Bowden, Ali Mutch and Elliot Smith.
  • In the 'B' Grade we have Andy Beel, Steve Smith and Craig Lloyd in our county team.
  • There is also a strong Women's draw, but we don't have a local player representing our club on this occasion :-(

The organisers have put the word out and have noted how strong our teams are, so you can be sure that other counties will have taken note and brought their very best players to challenge us.

You can see the full schedule and the venue for each of the matches at the link below, so with the bar open across the tournament please come along and cheers our home players on!

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
