In early February, Finley, Oscar and Grace Brown took on the best of England at the 2025 English Junior Squash Championships in Nottingham, once against representing our club at the highest level nationally.

Because we operate on a not for profit basis, every penny of the revenue we generate from the advertising boards on our four courts goes towards improvements to the club (such as the new gym equipment) and investment in our juniors, teams, and coaching programmes.

Advertising at the club is a great way to get your message in front of a wide audience of 425+ members and their guests, as well as visiting players from Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Added to this, these board designs are often featured in the background of photographs that are sent out over social media, the local press, and will be seen by the 900+ recipients of the email newsletter you are reading right now.

Knowing that many club members are business owners, we wanted to give you the first opportunity to take up one or more of these prime advertising spaces at the club, which help us to invest into club improvements that we all get to benefit from.

There is current availability on court 1 top and bottom positions, and court 2 top position.

Annual costs are:

• £400 for a top panel
• £250 for a bottom panel (the “tin”)
• £600 for a top and a bottom panel

Prices above are per annum (no VAT due) but you'll pay less as our year runs until 31st December 2025. An additional printing cost will apply, and an (optional) design fee should you need help designing your banner advertisement.

We will operate this on a first-come-first-served basis, so please act fast to guarantee your space!

Member of the O'Hara family squash dynasty of which we currently have four playing members at our club, Owen, is currently serving in the British Armed Forces. He recently played in a three-day RAF squash competition in Wolverhampton and came out as winning as the RAF Under 25’s 2025 Champion. A 3-0 victory in the final too, so well done Owen!

Looking to press on and challenge for the Leicestershire 1st Division title, our first team have a make-or-break game coming up in mid March against Market Harborough. 

Our opponents are likely to be fielding World Ranked #43, George Parker as part of their extremely strong line-up, so we'd really encourage your support. It's not often we get to see a player of such quality on our courts, so get involved!

We've got a lot going on this year as we celebrate our 10th year at Maple Drive and our 90th year as a club. More details will follow in due course, but for now just save the dates!
