An imporant message on Club Security

TO ALL MEMBERS

Club Access

The ongoing issue with the damp floors in the club means that we are likely to encounter contractors visiting the club seeking entry to review the problem. Whilst we do want to see these persons, they should never be let into the club without being escorted by a committee member and indeed they will have been advised of this requirement already by the council.

If therefore you are asked to let someone in, please do not give them entry, tell them politely that they should get in touch with their council contact to arrange a convenient time to be shown around. Alternatively, they can call John Lambert on 07879 893668.

Gym Equipment

The gym equipment has recently been serviced and the Life Fitness bike has been repaired and should now be working OK.

Please advise house manager John Lambert of any faults / issues that are still a problem.

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
