The return of the Dinosaur Leagues!

Tuesday evenings starting late April

For those of you new to our club, the Dinosaur Leagues is a fun competition where teams of fellow members play each other over four consecutive Tuesday nights: 29th April, 6th May, 13th May, 20th May. Teams are created based on the standard of players who have entered, so a team will be made up of strong to inexperienced players, and we'll even things out to make sure each team has a fair shot of taking home the coveted Dinosaur Trophy (if we can find it).

There's also space for a racketballer per team, and hopefully a junior too. Any playing member can enter... fossils are welcome!

The Dinosaur Leagues are a great way for new members to get involved and meet new people, and for the team players to finish off their match season in style.

Each Tuesday will start at 7.00pm or thereabouts, and we'll put some nibbles on the bar to entice both herbivores and meat-eaters out of their enclosure. Best of all, it's only £10 for the four weeks. Get your name on the noticeboard sheet and sign-up and pay online.

Annual General Meeting 2025

Monday 7th April from 8.00pm - All Members Welcome!

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the club committee's yearly report on the preceding twelve months. All members are welcome to join us and hear about the progress of the club, presented by our Chairman Steve Gaisford with assistance from other club officers.

You are welcome to submit questions for the committee ahead of time to secretary@hinckleysquash.com. Please ensure that questions reach us by 1st April to give the committee time to discuss prior to the AGM.

We have blocked out the squash courts on Monday 7th April for this event upstairs. Come along for a drink and to hear about the club's progress.

Upcoming Home Team Fixtures

Why not come along to the club to support our teams in action in the following upcoming fixtures?

Get involved in your club!

We want to remain a volunteer-run to keep your fees low. Can you dedicate an hour a week to help us?

Our club operates on a ‘Not For Profit’ basis, with most day-to-day running undertaken by volunteers and members of our committee. This support helps in keeping membership and court fees much lower than other squash clubs, with arguably superior facilities.

From time to time we will put the word out if we require the help in a particular department, but in general terms if you would like to get involved and offer a little of your free time to progress the club please send us a message here.
